THE TIME HAS COME

YOU GUYS. I'M A MISSIONARY! I get to wear Christ's name over my heart for the next year and a half and I don't even think you realize how happy that makes me!!!
 

Ok not even gonna lie...staring at a screen for most of the day in home mtc is definitely not my favorite thing ever but its okay haha just gotta make it to next wednesday until I'm in the provo mtc! but i LOVE my district so much already everyone has such amazing thoughts so I'm excited to meet everyone in person!


Also got to go to the Draper temple today with my sister it was AWESOME and so fun to be inside another temple I've never been to before! I challenge you guys to go to the temple this week!!!


OK shoutout to my new bestie Hermana Friend because she might just be the coolest comp ever to exist (yes I'm biased just except it). CRAZY BLESSING! When I got my call a few months ago, one of my favorite ladies in my stake reached out to me and told me that her niece was called to the same mission as me so I got in contact with her and we've had so much fun getting to know each other. THEN I was in the celestial room last week on the day we were supposed to get our district assignments and I was praying about my companion and that whoever I get will be perfect for both our needs and YOU WON'T GUESS WHO!!! When I saw Hermana Friend's name as my comp I literally screamed right there in the temple parking lot I'm not kidding. We both are doing home mtc in utah at our grandparents house and she's only 15 min away so we got to meet for the first time on Monday and do a class together and OH MY HECK seriously such a sign from God. I could not have been paired with a more perfect Hermana for the mtc I already love her so so much and I'm so grateful God put her in my path!


Home mtc has actually been a really good transition into missionary life tho! i love having an hour of my day dedicated to personal study and specific time for the Lord. It's only been 3 days and i can already see so many changes in myself and my testimony. I've already felt the spirit an insane amount and I can't wait for all of the other times I'll get to feel it leading up to entering the provo mtc and throughout my mission!

Happy Monday everyone! And happy p-day to all my missionary friends . Hope you are all doing well and staying safe! Holaaa mis queridos!! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter remembering our Savior! This weeks recap: -exchanges with the hermanas in la Concordia with hna Tischner (aka one of my new best friends) and let me just say, two white girls in the dangerous parts of my area...not a good idea -reached almost all of our goals this past week and found SO many escogidos and only 1 person came to church for Easter, definitely not the result i was hoping to have -when we went to la Concordia to start exchanges and finally got to ride my first mototaxi -got to do the Easter studies every day this week and wowww it made it so incredibly special! -as for the title of this email, we just went to the part lf our area called "Cristo Vive" or "Christ lives" on the day that he resurrected so i thought that was kinda cool!! A Mom Of 2 And A Grandma

HELLOOO my wonderful friends and family! The life of Hermana Jones in Santo Domingo just got a whoooole lot more interesting so we're getting right to it! Today I'm gonna write this by day of what happened because just so many eventful things that went down Monday: traveled to Quito, went to an appointment with the mission presidents wife, then waited in the offices to receive transfers, opened transfers in front of President and me and hermana friend SCREAMED and literally jumped out of our seats when we saw we're training AGAIN!!! (We even have video proof) Tuesday: leadership council and helping the other hermanas get ready for transfers and traveling Wednesday: started off the day with a great start, we go to the terminal in Carcelen and get the other hermanas in the bus and while they're sitting in the bus waiting a guy comes in a robs them, her phone and her money and her card, and they hadn't even left to go to the concordia yet...sometimes i hate ecuador wit...
