Hola hola!! Como están?! This week was a bit interesting to say the least haha. Basically to start, Ecuador is in a massive drought, like huuuuuge, so they decided to save power they could start cutting the lights, electricity, and water. So fun right?? Ya usually it wouldn't be a big deal but let me tell ya right now, it's a huge deal for us missionaries usually we don't have light or electricity from 9:00-2:00 and 6:00-8:30 which means during those hours we can't call or contact literally anyone then at night if we want to cook, too bad so sad we have no electricity doesn't help that our apartment legitimately has no natural light like at all and it's FREEZING all. the. time. Definitely something I didn't expect coming to Ecuador is to be cold... you'd be surprised at how cold it gets with the rain but anyways ya we found out that this whole "no light" situation might last until December...wanted to shed a tear when I heard that. Praying ever...

Hector us the coolest guy out there let me tell ya, we sent him a text the morning of his baptism to ask him how he's feeling bc he was a bit nervous and he responded by saying "I'm good I'm just waiting until the hour comes, but I'm firm in my decision to be baptized" WOOHOO he's just the best. The baptism was so freaking good and I got to lead the music and felt like a pro thanks shoutout to the one and only Hermana Mendez! Hector shared his feelings after and told us a story of his conversion and how he was in a really dark place just 3 weeks ago when one of our other converts found him in the street. HOWDY YA'LL!!! How is everyone?! And just realized that we're already halfway thru September?? Don't know how that's possible, the weeks fly by in the mission SO MUCH happened this week and SO many tender mercies! First off, we had transfers this past week and woww a lot happened. We were supposed to find out on Tuesday so that we could move on Wednesday, idk what happened but we ended up finding out Thursday morning lol so basically for a solid two days I was on the edge of my seat wondering what's was gonna happen. I legitimacy felt so strong in my gut that I was leaving, so we woke up Thursday morning and immediately look and the phone but can't see anything bc of our puffy, sleepy eyes and we couldn't find where I was on the transfer board lol.
