HE IS COMING

WHATS UPPP!! How are you all?!

I don't have a ton of time to write today because of the silly little no-light situation which is so so fun so this email is a bit shorter!

☆BOTH of our baptismal dates(that have been on date for about 2 months) fell through

☆so many conversations about trump winning the election and people asking me about it bc I'm a gringooo but I cant respond, thankfully, because it's a rule in the mission to not talk politics. Genuinely so happy abt that because anyone that knows me, knows I hate politics lol

☆i ate blood in the form of a chorizo...not sure that I liked it all too much

☆got a reference of a person named "besos de caramelo" or "candy kisses"...pretty sure it was a joke

☆had exchanges and FULL visits with friends and one by one throughout the day, every one of them canceled...really testing my patience

☆SO genuinely happy with our efforts this week because we got higher than our goal for new people this week raising those goals even higher this week WOOO!

SPIRITUAL:
Alrightyyy this week I was studying in Doctrine and Covenants and found something so so so cool so I have to share! In each one of the following verses, it mentions a certain phrase that I'm obsessed with: 

D&C 35:27- "Fear not, little flock, the kingdom is yours until I come. Behold, I come quickly. Even so. Amen."

D&C 34:12- "And verily, verily, I say unto you, I come quickly. I am your Lord and your Redeemer. Even so. Amen."

D&C 39:24- "Behold, I come quickly. Even so. Amen."

D&C 41:4- "And I will be your ruler when I come; and behold, I come quickly, and ye shall see that my law is kept"

HE IS COMING. There are billions of angels on the other side helping to prepare the world for the earthshaking, uncomprehendable coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Those angels are on the other side for a reason and a purpose. I've been thinking a lot about this thought this week since I received heartbreaking news of two dear people I knew from back home who died unexpectedly. I keep thinking, why them? Why both members of this family? As hard as it is, He has a plan. Our Savior knows that those two people can help bring the second coming to pass. They can prepare people here in the earth and help with missionary work more on the other side than physically here on this earth. It's our purpose as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to share this gospel and prepare the world for the glorious Savior of the world. Time is short. Use it wisely, because he comes quickly.

Happy Monday everyone! And happy p-day to all my missionary friends . Hope you are all doing well and staying safe! "Cristo Vive" On The Day That "Cristo Vive"

Holaaa mis queridos!! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter remembering our Savior! This weeks recap: -exchanges with the hermanas in la Concordia with hna Tischner (aka one of my new best friends) and let me just say, two white girls in the dangerous parts of my area...not a good idea -reached almost all of our goals this past week and found SO many escogidos and only 1 person came to church for Easter, definitely not the result i was hoping to have -when we went to la Concordia to start exchanges and finally got to ride my first mototaxi -got to do the Easter studies every day this week and wowww it made it so incredibly special! -as for the title of this email, we just went to the part lf our area called "Cristo Vive" or "Christ lives" on the day that he resurrected so i thought that was kinda cool!! A Mom Of 2 And A Grandma

HELLOOO my wonderful friends and family! The life of Hermana Jones in Santo Domingo just got a whoooole lot more interesting so we're getting right to it! Today I'm gonna write this by day of what happened because just so many eventful things that went down Monday: traveled to Quito, went to an appointment with the mission presidents wife, then waited in the offices to receive transfers, opened transfers in front of President and me and hermana friend SCREAMED and literally jumped out of our seats when we saw we're training AGAIN!!! (We even have video proof) Tuesday: leadership council and helping the other hermanas get ready for transfers and traveling Wednesday: started off the day with a great start, we go to the terminal in Carcelen and get the other hermanas in the bus and while they're sitting in the bus waiting a guy comes in a robs them, her phone and her money and her card, and they hadn't even left to go to the concordia yet...sometimes i hate ecuador wit...
