Immersed In The Work Of The Lord

WHAT'S UP MIS QUERIDOS?! HAPPY DECEMBER?!?!?! Don't know how that's even possible...

I'm starting to forget everything that happens during the week because they just go by so fast but not much happened!

☆our convert Henry (my second baptism) received the priesthood yesterday it was a proud mom moment ngl

☆our bestie Naxly who's 19 yrs old accepted to be baptized WOOOOOO December 14th here we come! (maybe her baptismal font will be full and she won't have to sit down in the water)

☆THANKSGIVING! Low key gettin pretty homesick with the holidays but good news is that I only have 1 Christmas here so I gotta appreciate while I'm here! We ate something super special for Thanksgiving lunch...hamburgers and fries...surprise surprise. Cuz that's literally all there is here I never want another hamburger again

☆while we were eating Thanksgiving lunch with the district, the music in the restaurant stopped for an ad ABOUT OUR CHURCH it was such a fun moment to hear the ad talk about how they can meet with US, the missionaries the learn more! Every day I'm more and more impressed with how huge our church is and how we can use technology for so many amazing things it just brings me so much joy

☆finally hit our goal for asistencias in sacrament meeting!

☆CRUSHED our goal of new people for the week...41!!!! My new record

Anywaysss time for the best part!!!
I don't know what I'm gonna do after my mission when I don't have a full hour of personal study...it's a challenge to pull myself away from reading the scriptures and studying fr BUT I was reading in Mosiah 15 and came across verse 7 that's says,

"Yea, even so he shall be led, crucified, and slain, the flesh becoming subject even unto death, the will of the Son being swallowed up in the will of the Father."

And I was also listening to the talk "Swallowed up in the joy of christ" and noted that the divine principles are:

1. Stronger faith comes by putting Him first
2. Brighter hope comes by envisioning out eternal destiny
3. Greater power comes by focusing on joy

In different languages, the word "swallowed" means "consumed", "devoured", or "engulfed". Meaning that when Christ gave His life for us, he was "engulfed" in the will of the Father. Us too, need to be swallowed up in the joy of christ because JESUS + OTHERS + YOU= JOY.

When we are in the service of others, we are swallowed up in the joy of Christ. There is no greater joy than to be constantly in the service of my Healer and my Rock. Constantly look for the joy around you through the influences of others, and BE that influence FOR others!

Les amo mucho have an amazing week!
Xoxo
