Una Semana Exitosa

Holaaa mis queridos! Cómo están?? This week went by SO fast I can't believe it's already another preparation day!!

☆this week we didn't have a ton of time to go contacting because of all our visits, and our goal for the week was 20 new people like usual but yesterday morning we only had 9. In the afternoon we only had 1 hour to contact but we started with a prayer, all of us thinking we'll maybe get 5 people between the 3 of us. We ended contacting with 11 NEW PEOPLE IN 1 HOUR. And they're all absolutely chosen!!! I was shook to say the least.

☆leadership conference tomorrow and I cant wait I go to the temple again

☆our usual Sunday attendance of friends/investigators is about 3 or 4, this week God pulled a miracle, we had 12 our of friends come

☆while contacting yesterday in a low ley really sketchy area, 8 drunk men got arrested right next to us while we were talking about repentance and Jesus Christ in a contact

☆went to the big Basilica again today and it took literally everything out of me haha I'm exhausted! But my cutie comps wanted to go and we got permission from President because we reached our goals (pictures in the link)

☆went to Iñaquito on Thursday to get more paperwork for Hermana Lozano's visa it was a partyyy

☆our second english class on Saturday and 18 people came!!!!

SPIRITUAL:
Doctrine and Covenants 80:2-4 says, "Wherefore, go ye and preach my gospel, whether to the north or to the south, to the east or to the west, it mattereth not, for ye cannot go amiss. 

Therefore, declare the things which ye have heard, and verily believe, and know to be true. 

 Behold, this is the will of him who hath called you, your Redeemer, even Jesus Christ."

I just loved these scriptures so much and this week I was thinking of how my como might be feeling having to leave the mission to another country. But then I thought about the scriptures. 

It doesn't matter if we're in Italy, or the Philippines, or New York, or Costa Rica. The work is still the same.

This work is for Him who lives. This work is the serve His children and bring them salvation. This work is to learn and to grow our relationship with Him.

I'm so grateful to be serving and it doesn't matter where I am, as long as I'm serving Him I'm happy. Where ever you are in your life right now, in the country, or circumstance, thank Him. Your there for a reason!

Happy Monday everyone! And happy p-day to all my missionary friends . Hope you are all doing well and staying safe! Hector us the coolest guy out there let me tell ya, we sent him a text the morning of his baptism to ask him how he's feeling bc he was a bit nervous and he responded by saying "I'm good I'm just waiting until the hour comes, but I'm firm in my decision to be baptized" WOOHOO he's just the best. Holaaa mis queridos!! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter remembering our Savior! This weeks recap: -exchanges with the hermanas in la Concordia with hna Tischner (aka one of my new best friends) and let me just say, two white girls in the dangerous parts of my area...not a good idea -reached almost all of our goals this past week and found SO many escogidos and only 1 person came to church for Easter, definitely not the result i was hoping to have -when we went to la Concordia to start exchanges and finally got to ride my first mototaxi -got to do the Easter studies every day this week and wowww it made it so incredibly special! -as for the title of this email, we just went to the part lf our area called "Cristo Vive" or "Christ lives" on the day that he resurrected so i thought that was kinda cool!! A Mom Of 2 And A Grandma

HELLOOO my wonderful friends and family! The life of Hermana Jones in Santo Domingo just got a whoooole lot more interesting so we're getting right to it! Today I'm gonna write this by day of what happened because just so many eventful things that went down Monday: traveled to Quito, went to an appointment with the mission presidents wife, then waited in the offices to receive transfers, opened transfers in front of President and me and hermana friend SCREAMED and literally jumped out of our seats when we saw we're training AGAIN!!! (We even have video proof) Tuesday: leadership council and helping the other hermanas get ready for transfers and traveling Wednesday: started off the day with a great start, we go to the terminal in Carcelen and get the other hermanas in the bus and while they're sitting in the bus waiting a guy comes in a robs them, her phone and her money and her card, and they hadn't even left to go to the concordia yet...sometimes i hate ecuador wit...
