His Amazing Grace

Hola hola! This week's email is a bit long sorry!

☆ our friends Bryan and Gerabel moved houses just so they can learn more with us because owner of their former house doesn't like religion...she straight up told us in an audio "ya so when we get baptized..." they just have to get married first

☆consejo de liderazgo- got overloaded with consejo about how i can be a better hermana leader and a better missionary it was awesome!! Got to go to the temple again and another mission was in doing endowment so we got to switch it up and do initiatories! Healed my soul sooooo much my goodness and also got to be in the same session of initiatories as my cute mtc comp hna friend and one of the members from my first ward in my mission is was precious

☆last preparation day after we went to the Basilica we went to the Ecuadorian markets and my comps and I bought a "traje", an outfit that originates from Northern Ecuador, Otavalo. The culture there is the COOLEST! I only dream of going there because it's in the north mission did we all end up wearing our Otavalan outfits to church?? Yes. And did everyone want pictures with us?? Yes.  We pretty much felt like celebrities yesterday

☆did a whole 15 min contact in english, low key was the hardest contact to not talk in spanish, then I looked over at my cutie comp and she was sobbing apparently because I testified with the spirit to strong of baptism

☆our friend Ivan (the guy I contacted in straight english) straight up told us in our first lesson the other day that he wants to gets baptized...we'll see how that goes and if that lasts...he didn't even attend church yesterday

☆we were taking out money of our cards the other day and some guy came up to us asking us for money (normal here), but he was wayyyy too nice about it haha, then we went to leave and a lady told us that another guy was taking pictures of us the whole time...hopefully someone doesn't rob us this week...

Spiritual:

Yesterday i was studying Mosiah chapter 27 and verses 24-26 talk about baptism and being born again of God and becoming His sons and daughters, then i kept reading onto 29-31 that say,

"My soul hath been redeemed from the gall of bitterness and bonds of iniquity. I was in the darkest abyss; but now I behold the marvelous light of God. My soul was racked with eternal torment; but I am snatched, and my soul is pained no more.

I rejected my Redeemer, and denied that which had been spoken of by our fathers; but now that they may foresee that he will come, and that he remembereth every creature of his creating, he will make himself manifest unto all.

Yea, every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess before him. Yea, even at the last day, when all men shall stand to be judged of him, then shall they confess that he is God;"

That first verse really stuck with me and the first verse of Amazing Grace kept coming into my mind that says,

"Amazing grace—how sweet the sound—

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found,

Was blind, but now I see"

He saves us every. single. day. and it's our duty to help others come unto Him and help them see a change in their lives! I've never been so exhausted in my entire life because I've been working myself to the bone, but I LOVE THIS WORK more than anything in the world!!! Go help someone else come unto Him!

Les amo mucho have an amazing week!

Xoxo
