Real Life As A Missionary

Hola hola mi querido familia y amigos!

Espero que todos esten muy bien y que han tenido una semana de milagros y bendicenos! This week flewwww by let's get right into it:

-tuesday we were in the middle of putting a baptism date and the other hermanas wouldn't stop calling me so i pick up the phone and they tell me they didn't have light or water in their house. After the lesson there were absolutely ZERO taxis so we had to walk a solid 20 in the rain in a dangerous part of our area hehe and im trying call and figure out how we're supposed to get another mattress then we get it figured out and we get to our house waiting for the hermanas to arrive and we find out theres water allll over the ground in the other room in our house because my comp forgot to shut the window that morning and it had rained all day.

-sleepover party with the hermanas de las islas!

-entrevistas with President...Basically he told me what's gonna happen with all the hermanas in my zone and who's gonna be my 9th comp (yes I've had a different comp every transfer of my mission lol) left that interview and honestly felt very inadequate as a missionary from what he said to me, that was fun

-fecha con our bestie Benito and he let me play the hymns on the guitar to start and end the lesson, the spirit was so strong

-ok do you all remember the cute lady who I wrote about the last email who said she wanted to get baptized...but in August?? Haha SHE'S GETTING BAPTIZED THIS FRIDAY WOOOOO!!!! I love Rosita with my whole heart and it's been incredible watching her grow and being able to teach her from the beginning. We read thru Mosiah 18 and I legit don't remember what I said that whole lesson, the spirit spoke through me. But she ended up choosing her fecha for this Friday cuz she doesn't want to wait any longer! And yesterday we let the whole relief society know, and they all congratulated her it was so precious, CAN'T WAIT FOR FRIDAY!

-had to say bye to my besties, the AP's elder Skousen and Loris, we have a joke that the next time i see elder Loris, I'll be walking on campus and he'll be pushing a baby stroller with his wife walking next to him BAHAHA

-cockroach climbed down my leg last night when I grabbed something from the floor. I. Hate. Cockroaches. With. A. Passion. (We've found 5 in our house just in the past week)

-we saw MIRACLES in church yesterday for real. We went to go see some members before church which was super random then we got on the bus after and 3 of our friends (a mom and her parents who we've been teaching for forever who never come) finally came to church SUPRISE! There were a few more people that came, including our baptismal dates and we ended up having 10 people at church yesterday WHATTTT

SPIRITUAL:
I was reading the recent conference talk "This is my gospel, this is my church" where it talks about dynamite and how it was created and how those few ingredients makes something SO powerful. And I love this analogy that the gospel of Jesus Christ combined with His Church is so extremely powerful when you really think about it. And I love to think that all the little blessings that come with it, our the ingredients that make it up. This really is His Gospel, and His Church and I'm way too excited for general conference this weekend to be able to learn. What in honor it is to be able to be here, helping others learn about this gospel and be able to invite them to listen to the prophet and apostles of His Church.

My challenge is the same as last time, go into conference this weekend with a purpose and a question. I promise you all, you will find that answer and peace your looking for!! And ENJOY IT! Conference is only 2 times a year, learn and enjoy!!!

Love you all so so much
