WOW this week so so eventful!! Sorry this email is a bit longer but i just wanted to note a lot! ☆ Highlights☆ - When we were starving and poor about to contact for 3 hours with no energy and stopped by a panaderia window shopping for bread and the lady gave us 2 rolls and yogurt because shes a member and knows how hard we work God is good -our goal this week was to find 22 people...we ended up getting 29 success in the mission is on a different level -had a lesson with two "escogidos" which was absolutely amazing and we didnt want to end because the spirit was so strong, but we literally SPRINTED from one side of our area to the other for mission coordination meeting...I'm not runner -finally learned how to make corviche AND arroz con leche--dreams come true -passed by the dad of the family of 8 to confirm our visit and he told us that our beliefs are different(uhh ya obviously) and that they don't believe in what we believe and don't wanna learn more, i low key ...

This week went by pretty quick and I honestly don't remember much that happened but here we go! ☆we had surprise zone conference and had to travel 2 hours away to the North part of the mission...that was fun. We woke up at 4:30 meaning to wake up at 3:00 to do our hair before the electricity went out at 4:00, rip we missed the alarm so basically my hair was a rats nest for zone conference, and I did my makeup in absolute pitch dark with a crappy flashlight bc I didn't have my phone that morning(another story for another day) so basically I just was not looking my best for a multi zone conference but who cares? Not me ☆zone conference was SO good tho! Learned a lot and literally got called on every five seconds to say something my brain was fried because of exhausted but we're thriving ☆we found and taught a family of 8 PEOPLE!!! WHATS UPPP!! How are you all?! I don't have a ton of time to write today because of the silly little no-light situation which is so so fun so this email is a bit shorter! ☆BOTH of our baptismal dates(that have been on date for about 2 months) fell through ☆so many conversations about trump winning the election and people asking me about it bc I'm a gringooo but I cant respond, thankfully, because it's a rule in the mission to not talk politics. Genuinely so happy abt that because anyone that knows me, knows I hate politics lol ☆i ate blood in the form of a chorizo...not sure that I liked it all too much ☆got a reference of a person named "besos de caramelo" or "candy kisses"...pretty sure it was a joke ☆had exchanges and FULL visits with friends and one by one throughout the day, every one of them canceled...really testing my patience ☆SO genuinely happy with our efforts this week because we got higher than our goal for new people this week raising those...

Tip: if you just wanna read spiritual thoughts and miracles in my emails always skip down to the bottom ☆one hermana in our ward needed help locking the church after an activity because her key wasn't working so we headed to the church and the second i attempted...it broke in half...we spent the following 45 minutes attempting to retrieve the other half from the door,  bishop came to the rescue but I felt terrible lol ☆we didn't have whatsapp for 4 days because it blocked us for no absolute reason and it was actually the hardest 4 days of being here in this area ngl. It made me realize how much we need it haha and when we called the secretary asking for help he straight up said "ya let's wait a little longer and see what happens" we were like ELDER WE NEED WHATSAPP WE CAN'T WORK WITHOUT IT!
